Shakespeare and Ballroom

The last week has been busy. My Drama II Class performed Shakespeare scenes last night. It went really well-some of the acting was fantastic! Then last Saturday my Ballroom kids went to competition. They did great! Our class is only 16 hours and the kids they are competing with have had class all semester. We had five teams-each team is placed in a Gold, Silver, or Bronze range. We got 2 Golds, 2 Silvers, and 1 Bronze. Then for the individual competition we got 6th place in the Triple-Step Swing and Waltz! Fun stuff!!!

Spring Break, Muffins, and Rug

Michael and I went to AZ for Spring Break. Lot's of reading, swimming, and outings!

Hole in the Rock at Papago Park is really fun. We used to visit it a lot when we lived there as kids. Here are Michael and Issac peaking through the hole.

We went to the zoo. I LOVE the zoo. Olivia and Dianna joined us!

The Nutcracker

I remember going to see The Nutcracker with Mom, Jessica, and Marian when we lived in Mesa. I LOVED it. So, Aunt Mel decided to take Clara and Katie on a date this winter to the Capitol Theater in Salt Lake. We dressed up fancy, got lunch at The Olive Garden, and saw the show. The girls were on the edge of their seats until about the last 20 mins (the Sugar Plum Fairy gets a little old after a while!). The only thing that would have made the day better would have been to have our 3rd 6-year-old, Nora, as part of our merry group.

Nativity Sets

I went to China last year for Christmas and bought a Nativity there. Last night I made a runner for my piano to help display it. Here's a photo plus one that also shows my nativity from Jerusalem.
