Summer!

It was another GREAT summer!

Abe and Aunt Mel

Olivia-very patriotic. I really enjoyed getting to know Livy better this summer-she's very lovely!

Katie, Nora, and Aunt Mel at the 4th of July parade is a yearly event!

Have to have pigs on the back of our 4th of July shirts!

These boys needed to get wet at the splash pad-Attack of the Aunt Mel monster!
Don't they look authentic. Clara cracks me up!

Floating Lanterns-like in the movie "Tangled"

Ganging up on Aunt Mel
This is how my birthday began-snuggles in bed with Aunt Mel and Frog and Toad (there were a total of seven kids in the bed!)
One of the games at Aunt Mel's birthday party!

What better way to end a birthday party than with dancing!

Dance!

This kid's smile is to DIE for! He won all our hearts!  William.

By fortunate circumstance a group of us from High School happened to all be in Sandpoint at the same time this year. Kurt flew in all the way from London for a family thing. So, we got together for old times sake. Mel, David, Dave, Kurt, Erin. It was really nice to see everyone and catch up on life!

Ice Cream after a morning of picking Huckleberries in the mountain!

Livy and Aunt Di

A bunch of the Grandkids sitting on a log and the Cedar Breaks. It was a nice day!

Aunt Mel and Will

Penelope Rose-my newest niece! She is lovely!

Going on a hike!

Swimming. Aunt Mel was so hot she had to jump in with her clothes-Nelson was so impatient he had to jump in with his clothes!

Trestle Creek

Diana and Aunt Mel sailing

Uncle Michael and Will

The older grandkids learned how to Fox Trot this summer. Maybe I'll do Tango next year!

Singing at the Piano

Every Sunday Aunt Mel would do ringlets in two of the girl's hair. They loved it and looked lovely!
